The submissions for the 1st stage have been received and the judging has taken place. The entries were incredibly inspiring and the challenge to choose between them was not inconsiderable! So much talent and effort – it felt like unwrapping gifts and delighting in each.
We thank all the artists who have invested their time in creating and sending their work! We are planning to feature the proposals in due course.
The shortlisted artists are Gillian Brett, Charlotte Annand, Louise Dent, Robin Batt, Amanda Withey.
The 2nd stage submission is due on 10 June. The winning prize will be announced at the Summer Party on 21 June, with the prize money sponsored by Friends of PSAD.
Putney School of Art and Design is leading this exciting Art competition to design a new fountainhead figurine in Coronations Gardens, a beautiful, historical Edwardian park set in Southfields. The fountain, based in the heart of the gardens, will undergo a full refurbishment to restore it to its former 1904 glory.
