PSAD Friends Chair Clare Frankl Bertram writes about RA Summer Exhibition success.

Caroline Wigart, who we all know as Nina, entered two beautiful ceramic wall pieces to the RA summer Exhibition. Not only did one get accepted but it was sold even before the show opened!
‘I am inspired by dappled light through trees (what our sight was originally adapted to) and I find the glazing process exciting. I used an oxide/wax mix for the branches and 6 different glazes layered using latex to spare out… and then I let the reduction kiln make its magic’✨ 🤞
Nina joined the new Members Studio at Disraeli Road and has been delighting all of us with her wonderful layering of texture and colour. The studio look forward to her return after a well earned visit home to Sweden. Congratulations Nina!

See pictures of Nina’s work below.
