The Friends have helped secure a £10,000 grant for We Art Wandsworth programme, as part of Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture initiative.
We Art Wandsworth is a community programme of art events, workshops and lectures taking place in the borough through to spring 2026.
The programme will be centred around PSAD, Battersea Arts Centre and Sprout Arts in Tooting to bring together artists, residents and communities sharing the joys of visual arts.
From now until the spring of 2026, a programme of exhibitions, workshops and events will celebrate looking, seeing and making art work.
As a start of that programme The Friends will offer a drop in workshop for children during our Christmas Fair on Sunday 7th December.
Putney School of Art and Design and the Friends of PSAD are inviting all artists, tutors and students to reply with letters of interest to exhibit and take part in workshops. Even more important there is an opportunity to propose and run workshops yourselves to spread the chance to learn, experiment and connect through art.
